Bella Lodi Riserva Oro
Production Zone

The production area of Bella Lodi is the plain to the right and left of the middle and lower reaches of the River Adda before it joins the Po. This is the alluvial plain of the Adda and its watershed, which includes the River Serio, which flows into the Adda south of Crema.
Near the Adda there is a difference of level (6 to 8 metres) due to the erosion at the end of the last ice age of the terraces that had previously been formed. In the middle of this depression there is Cerreto Abbey, from where the Cistercian monks drained the area in the Middle Ages.
