Our story began three generations ago just a few kilometres from Lodi, when Giovanni Pozzali, within his father’s farm, set up the first rural dairy to process the milk produced by the family and by a few neighbouring farmsteads. From the recipe of GRANONE LODIGIANO P.A.T. (TRADITIONAL AGRI-FOOD PRODUCT – P.A.T.), “The Forefather of all the cheeses in its category”, the production of a family of outstanding dairy specialities took shape.
In the 1990s, the company — by then known as Pozzali Lodigrana — grew and diversified, eventually leading to the launch of the cheese speciality that translates this family history into flavour: Bella Lodi, a sincere tribute to the millenary heritage of the Lodi region.
